Email List
Members who provide SMCTLA with email addresses become a part of the members' email list where announcements for seminars, events and dramatic changes in case law or local rules effecting our practice areas are circulated to all members. If a member has an important announcement for circulation, email the executive director at info@smctla.org

Anatomical Models
SMCTLA loans anatomical models to our members. They include a human torso, spinal column, various joints, and more. Also available are anatomical charts and medical illustrations by Frank Netter, M.D.

Document Enlargement Service
Our members are provided the use of a fast and inexpensive method of enlarging documentary trial exhibits. On reasonable notice to SMCTLA, a member can make arrangements to use the enlarger where any 8.5 inch by 11 inch (or smaller) document is enlarged to a maximum poster size of 2 foot by 3 foot. The printer makes quality black and white enlargements of medical reports, insurance forms, charts, tables, or black and white photographs, for use as demonstrative evidence in the courtroom. A nominal fee is charged for the use of the paper.

MCLE Tapes and Videos
The organization has numerous audiotapes and videos for members' use. MCLE credit is given for most tapes. Contact the organization for titles and availability.

Lobby Day
SMCTLA participates in Lobby Day at Sacramento where we visit with legislators. Our goal is to advance positive changes to the legal and judicial system. If a member is interested in a particular legislative issue and wants to attend, email the executive director at info@smctla.org to make reservations for this trip.
