Monthly Meetings
SMCTLA has monthly luncheon meetings often attended by judges and influential state politicians. Members are invited to attend the meetings.

Continuing Legal Education
Keep up with new changes in the law with our seminars. SMCTLA sponsors the annual "What's New In Tort & Trial."

Judges' Dinner
Each year in November, SMCTLA hosts a dinner to honor the county's judicial officers. The evening event at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club is always a fun time for the membership. A noted speaker on a topics that matter to trial lawyers and awards for Judge of the Year, Legislator of the Year, Peace Officer of the Year are also a part of the evening. Community Service Events
The SMCTLA has joined together with Samaritan House, a non-profit agency serving low-income families and individuals in San Mateo County, to host two annual events. Profits for these two events benefit Samaritan House.

In addition, the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association's Scholarship Program awards three scholarships to graduating high school seniors who wish to pursue a career in law.
